The content over on THE 800 DAYS blog for Day 762 is from another good friend of Blake's but this time, it is a mutual friend, KIMBERLYSLYRICS.
Many of the artists/authors Blake decides to give a feature spot to are people he knows and/or corresponds with over a long-term but this time, the feature artist/author is also someone that I also know, correspond with and have a long-distance relationship with - a peer-Canadian!
An interesting article by kimberlyslyrics which doesn't exactly make Canada look so good but no matter, these blogs are about truths, right? The article is about Canadian serial killers (ouch), entitled, "Canada's 10 Worst In Serial Killers."
Strangely enough, I just watched the movie "Karla," online about two weeks ago, so the details on Paul Bernardo with Karla Homolka (a killer duo), are pretty fresh in my mind. I know the movie portrayed a certain viewpoint so I ended up delving into quite a lot of text about Bernardo and Homolka online after viewing the movie... needless to say, I am not rushing to look up details now, after reading Kimberly's article over at The 800 Days blog!
(usually I am in a frenzy of open browser windows while reading each respective post on Blake's blog, fact-checking or supplementing my understanding of Blake's articles as I go)
Luckily, for readers, Kimberly has done an awesome job of arranging and presenting certain pertinent details of each serial killer and their deeds without going into enough detail to traumatize the reader (which is what I usually do to myself when I start to dig for information lol). Blake has done an awesome presentation of Kimberly's article onto his blogspot, adding some fitting graphics so that this Day 762 blog post has just enough information and graphics to please a reader without scaring him/her off!
I'll get out of the way now so people can go check out The 800 Days blog...
The Day 762 post over on The 800 Days blog is on the topic of 10 worst serial killers from the country of Canada (Oh Canada, Oh Dear!)... and is associated with Thursday February 17 2011.
Myth~~
P.S.
Feb 17th is also my (adult) son's birthday! 'cept my son doesn't read my blogs :)
(would frighten him lol)

Day 679
Blake4d's offering for Day 679 on his The 800 Days blog reminds me very much of the work of satire by Jonathan Swift called, "A Modest Proposal for Preventing the Children of Poor People in Ireland From Being a Burden on Their Parents or Country, and for Making Them Beneficial to the Publick" more commonly known as "A Modest Proposal." Certainly a certain part of the topic (taboo in our society) is brought to the reader - that of cannibalism...
EXPECT to feel some discomfort and dissonance when you read the morsel Blake has prepared... and if, as you ingest the material, "How To Serve Man or Cooking for Cannibals and Dummies," you feel you'd like to become a vegetarian, nobody at all will blame you.
:)

Day 686 (Tidbits)
It was hard for me to wrap my head around the content on Day 686 of the ongoing THE 800 DAYS blog. This is only because Day 686 involves HARD SCIENCE and I'm admittedly a pseudo-science geek, and also a social science fan. Hard Science experimentation, data and numbers are things I can manage but tend to shy away from as I like feelings, people, mystical ideas much more than numbers and hard absolutes.
Mind you - I think we're finding out in this day and age that our trust in Hard Sciences is misplaces, are we not? I mean - even quantum physics fields are starting to show us that our concept of time and space as linear or even "clockwork" things - is all WRONG!
Eh... goin' off on a tangent now - and bringing the topic around to things I like more (trashing hard sciences? lol), which isn't very respectful to our Blake Hall and his 800 Days Project/Blog - so I will get back to the topic Blake wrote about over on his blog...
Wow, Blake discloses that the Hubble Space Telescope is celebrating its 20th Anniversary of operation! I suppose I've taken this item for granted as the telescope has been in existence for most of the period of my life whereby I've understood what the huge machine actually is! I was a young adult when this scientific gadget was unveiled and shown to the world...but now, Blake has put out an info-article telling that NASA is reporting the Hubble Telescope has recently found something quite amazing...
No, it's not a star... not a satelitte, nor is it a new planet...
It's a WHOLE (freakin') GALAXY that Hubble Telescope has just been able to catch in its view - around January 26th, Blake reports that NASA made a statement about this...
Now here's why all this stuff gets EASY for me to shy away from... (think "numbers)
They have called this new Galaxy the following: UDFy-38135539 (according to NASA). Now how on Earth (or How in the Universe?) am I ever going to remember that galaxy or identify if THAT newly found galaxy is the one people are talking about? To heck with that, I'm going to call it by my OWN name and I deem the new UDFy-38135539 galaxy is now called...
Kat Vale Galaxy 01 (01, just in case they find another one close to it... then Kat Vale Galaxy can have a twin with the suffix "02" tacked on).
I think Blake's details over on THE 800 DAYS blog sound infinitely more scientific than my review, so GO READ THE BLOG!
The Day 686 post is full of hard-science jargon and is associated with Thursday February 3 2011.

Day 693 (Tidbits)
Mysterious INDEED! The theme for the Day 693 entry on THE 800 DAYS blog appears to be "Mystery."
At the top of the post is a video that, itself, is somewhat of a mystery to me - but I'll check with Blake about the artist, song, etc. The music is enjoyable nonetheless, so have a listen while you read about some mysterious items Blake felt needed some attention!
The objects are often "out of place" or do not adhere to what science and history texts currently tell us about the regions we live in... ie: the items are dated to be OLDER than what is currently accepted as how long human beings have existed on the earth... The widely popular and current belief is that people have only been walking on the planet for about 1.6 million years... but some of these objects are being dated as 2 to 2.5 million years old (a carving of a human face into a shell, found in England)...
Strange, huh?
Go read about this stuff on Blake's blog!
The Day 693 entry on The 800 Days blog is about OLD STUFF and wondering about the mystery of how old this stuff might really be... and also, Day 693 is associated with Thursday January 27 2011.

There are items detailed, ranging from coins to skeletons in the Day 693 post - and with every item, follows the questions:
- "How did these get here?"
- "Who left these items?"
- "Why are people just finding these items NOW in mainly (but not all or always) populated places?"
- most importantly
- "Why are these objects (and so many of them) dated as OLDER than human civilization?"

Day 700 (Tidbits)
Some rather shocking data turned out by Blake Hall for the Day 700 entry on his The 800 Days blog. These details are about how people use their computers...
An amazing 79 percent of people polled (Harris Interactive surveys) asserted that they store embarrassing files on their computer they don't want co-workers, family and friends to see...
*Both Hands Up*
Guilty...errrr I mean, I also would say I have things on my computer I don't want others to see or which might cause embarrassment to me if someone scouted through my computer contents.
Mind you, I have poetry - my own - stored on my PC and this is the most personal stuff I don't want anyone to see *shrug*
The video at the top of the post, I enjoyed very much - then below the vid, I wondered why the word "sex" was repeated over and over and over and over and over... turns out, the Harris poll also asked several questions about SEX and the results show that both men and women wish to hide the online sites they frequent hmmm....
There are actually what I view as two full articles inside the Day 700 post, along with a poem, dedicated to "LL," to close out this blog entry.
The second of the articles is called "Sex Tapes of the Rich and Infamous," which leads into a discussion of how plentiful sex tapes of the rich and famous are in North America and the "civilized" Western World - first under premise that personal tapes had been stolen then made viewable to a general public - secondly, with the fake story of the same ("Hey my tapes were stolen!") but the tapes being choreographed, marketed and distributed with planned precision.
Hey... people are buying these tapes/DVDs like crazy, so more and more sex tapes are coming out... and Blake has compiled a rather abundant list of names of stars who have fallen into this sex-tape craze, marketing and pulling in money from what Americans/North Americans apparently want to see more and more of... I'm surprised at who is on this list, but then, I am still often surprised that so many people want to get their 15 minutes of fame by any means possible - even if it's done by baring all in what most people would find extremely embarrassing fashion.
Although I wasn't unaware of this craze, reading about it via The 800 Days blog and then reviewing this post has made me even more aware that SEX sex sex sex sex sex sex is on peoples' minds a LOT...
The Day 700 post is associated with SEX and the date, Thursday January 20 2011.
P.S. I'll have to return later to review on the poetry as it takes me some time to interpret...
I'll follow up and review in another post soon...
'til then, you'll just have to hang on a sex.......... oops I mean a sec'

Day 707 (Tidbits)
Hey, the content in Blake's Day 707 entry on his THE 800 DAYS weblog is a reminder of sorts designed to keep our minds returning to recent and current events. Blake has some things to say on "ANONYMOUS" and the 2010 December 9th and 10th CyberWar attacks... events we should be paying close attention to as THEY ARE OUT OF COMPLEX MOTIVATIONS, and are INITIATED by those who choose to hide from authorities and a general public while at the same time, managing to project ideas, messages on a grand scale. As well, ANONYMOUS is more temporal and abstract than all this... Anonymous is IDEAS...
Now this way of thinking about an entity of sorts who manages to actually perform widespread actions with technology - is different from anything we have ever had to think about before. Hello... life is advancing, we need to catch up - we need to wrap our heads around this stuff. It's far from traditional - ANONYMOUS is ideas of a people (could be anywhere, could be everywhere) who want liberation from corruption and unwarranted control over people and technology... Anonymous=good idea!
Blake also displays info in one of the easiest way for viewers/readers to understand... by Video. Many of us lead hurried lives with many tasks per day in them. Videos that are reasonably made cut out a lot of time for us sometimes, so I like that Blake constantly browses vid sites for pertinent informational videos as well as for artistic/musical creations and recordings.
The vids on Blake's Day 707 post are of short length - none longer than 9 minutes - and anyone at all should be able to fit these in during even a fairly hectic day.
Vid 1 - message from "Anonymous", Vid 2 - message for those who want to understand the Anonymous message and Cyber Attack events, Vid 3 - message for the media, Vid 4 - Anonymous to The Governments of the World.
In my opinion, the group and individuals involved as ANONYMOUS are serious individuals who need be respected... So far, the events initiated by ANONYMOUS have been of the "no harm to the bodies of persons" type. I feel it is best that things stay this way. Personally, I don't think the actions of ANONYMOUS are solely for the media and governments... the actions are just as much for the general public...
K, heads up here... Paying attention?
Good
ANONYMOUS has shown a non-violent way to SET BOUNDARIES between the public and the oppressive, corrupt powers that be.
That's it.
That's all I wanted to say and as brief an idea as I can project about how I interpret the Cyber Attacks of December 2010 and the group ANONYMOUS who intitiated and executed the attacks (wow, I used a "word of violence" in explaining this bodily non-violent stuff - "executed." Might want to come back to this later).
WATCH THE VIDS!!! (while you read along with the article underneath the vids). Watch the vids TWICE - read the article below the vids THRICE - how better to learn how to set boundaries, ourselves, than to take in one of the most powerful boundary "ACTS" and explanations of the actions of ANONYMOUS that there has ever been to date in the world?

Day 714 (Tidbits)
I'm pretty sure that nobody who has been reading tidbits on the blogs or has caught some of Blakes or my own articles outside of Blogger just prior to and up to January 2011 will have any excuse not to know how to get in touch with either Blake or myself - especially after reading Day 714 text over on THE 800 DAYS blog.
This is because Blake has posted an article (with full permissions) that I have had up on another social site for about (at least) a month now. There are links provided for our Twitter addy contacts and other most common social sites where you can hook up with either Blake or myself and chit-chat about Mayan Calendar tidbits, Conspiracy Theories, Religion and Spirituality, Doomsday Theories, New Age theories, Cults, Social Commentary, etc - let us know anything we're missing that you'd like to see covered as a topic within the very large scope of Blake's 800 Day Countdown.

Day 721 (Tidbits)
Day 721 is alternately titled, "WWRJD?" (What Would Rick James Do?) lol I wanted an excuse to type that out, myself - so I just did!
There are some interesting tidbits that Blake has posted on Day 721 of his THE 800 DAYS blog. These are details about Google and IBM... thinkin' we should all keep an eye out for what is happening between those two computer industry GIANTS...
(Remember, I already said I'm going to switch to LINUX in 2011? Maybe what Google and IBM - and Apple and HP and Microsoft and a bunch of other GIANTS do won't be much of an issue for me)
Go-go-gadget-Linux!
Anyway - there are two very neat-o vids on the Day 721 post. The shows the BEST images of wolves and a tune I don't know the name to - but I'll get the vid transfered onto the Vid/Audio tab and double check the artist name and other details. I've hit "play" a couple of times already...
Some statements in the song with the vid of wolves are things I can identify with, like:
"I like to make myself believe
That planet earth turns slow-ly"
It's hard to say that I'd rather
Stay awake when I'm asleep
'cos everything is never as it seems [...]"
Hey - the lyrics are shown in the vid, btw... Nice.
The second video, I think it amazing in a way because it shows homeless people as real human beings. It's not a collection of clips of brown-bag-booze-bums and shyt like so many homelessness awareness commercials show. Of course, the vid is scripted to a certain extent but I love that the first images are of children with signs saying things like, "I am family" and "I am your son." I like that the children are featured later in the vid with signs like "I am thirsty/hungry," too.
Now don't take this the wrong way - but the image of children associated with homeless people is VERY APT, in my experience. In the same way that children require more capable people to care for them, so do homeless people require care and consideration. They have become homeless for a number of reasons - all of them - not just for a sole reason or from one or two factors in their lives getting out of control.
HOMELESSNESS IS A TRAUMA!
If the average person were forced to just become homeless for JUST ONE DAY as a test of some sort, the average person would have at least a minimally traumatizing experience (I do foot tours and take people around my city to role-play homelessness so they know how it feels. Most of my clients require a lot of stops, breaks and ask a lot of questions - they cry, feel guilty, feel oppressed, suffer identity glitches - even if my foot tour lasts only 1-2 hours)...
TRAUMATIZED PEOPLE REQUIRE UNCONDITIONAL RESOURCES AND SUPPORT
- not prejudice thrown at them and not suggestions about what faults they have that got them into homelessness. Also, throwing a traumatized person into jobs, housing, etc. too quickly or without the right supports means setting them up for pressure and failure. Being placed into a house (without the right supports) doesn't take care of the issue of trauma and the need for healing that happens if a person is homeless for more than TWO WEEKS!
It is even mortifying for some/most people to avoid homelessness by staying on a friends' couch for even as short a time as ONE WEEK... and if you've ever even stayed with relatives for a vacaion period in a home not your own, you've likely experiences some discomforts and disorientation doing something famaily oriented - so just keep stuff like this in mind, if you can, throughout 2011. As Blake mentions in his post, "Home is not something to be taken for granted...even if you have one."
If you're currently housed, I sure hope you can stay that way throughout the entirety of this New Year 2011. If you're currently housed and have extra things of any kind - even it its just extra time to go hug someone less fortunate than yourself - please share what you have that you don't need and refrain from hoarding resources of any kind... A smile is an awesome resources that everyone can give away for FREE.
The 800 Days blog also has a backtrack meant for a few days ago about Kwanzaa Traditions, which are Pagan celebrations related to the abundance of the last seasons' crops. I think this article is really a good end to a post with homelessness content on it because it's about celebrating over and sharing what you've got currently in your possession...and in Kwanzaa traditions, no discriminations are present over one person having a little less of a crop than another.

Day 728 (Tidbits)
And... we're at the twenty third day of the month and 23 Enigma content for the Day 728 entry on THE 800 DAYS blog.
Mixed in are some tidbits on timing and calendar/countdowns of two separate cultures whose timing devices match up in different eras - the Mayans and the Romans... Interesting - but let Blake explain it for you over on THE 800 DAYS blog.
In the spirit of things related to 23, Blake has presented a few versions of Psalm 23, an extremely well known and oft-cited bit of Christian text...
And then (LOL) Mr. Hall quotes YOURS TRULY... and to tell you the truth (again), I am still quite perplexed by this 23 Enigma!
The Day 728 entry on The 800 Days blog is associated with 23 Enigma and the 23rd Day of December, 2010. Thursday, December 23 2010.

Day 735 (Tidbits)
OKAY EVERYBODY - HERE'S THE RABBIT...
NOW GET READY TO GO DOWN THE RABBIT HOLE!
(Haven't we been down the rabbit hole with Blake4d a time or two already?) Oh - no matter... we're going down the rabbit hole again, according to Blake! (was it fun before?)
Isn't THIS FUN?????
Heh! Heh!
Take a good, long look at the video presented over on THE 800 DAYS BLOG... about the ASHTAR GALACTIC COMMAND experience television viewers underwent on the evening of November 26th 1977! Captain's Log for Day 735 and you'll notice, in part, a little story.
Here's how it went down...(but don't forget to get ALL the details from Blake's blog)
At 5:10pm, as South-England viewers watched television, primarily the early evening news, something or someone interrupted the news broadcast. Someone calling himself Vrilion - who didn't sound human but spoke in clearly understandable English - began a broadcast, the likes of which haven't been repeated!
Vrilion warned that human beings were causing dilemma and catastrophe in the world and that human beings would cause their own demise. Vrilion also mentioned some ways that mankind could STOP the coming catastrophe but that this would require immediate and drastic measures...
Vrilion's broadcast lasted about 6 minutes - during which time, no media or media transmission authorities could figure out where or how (we're sure we know WHY tho', don't we? Listen to the message of Vrilion!) the message was being broadcast OR how 5 major English transmitter units were blocked from transmitting THEIR original scheduled and live news programs.
There's no way for me to reiterate Vrilion's message here, so do be sure to go listen via The 800 Days blog. The message of Vrilion is lengthy, intense and to understand the transmission quality, you have to listen yourself, not just read about a review of the incident...
But before you head over... just a warning:
THIS IS NOT WHERE THE RABBIT HOLE ENDS!
There are MORE vids on Blake's Day 745 post...a strange blimp caught on video, some strange pics of objects in the sky. It would be a good idea for you to be prepared to sit for just a little while as you head over to The 800 Days blog...I say "sit for just a little while" because you're likely to feel dizzy, need to shake your head several times after viewing the details and media gadgets on the Day 745 post.
Ah, but that's part of the nature of the rabbit hole... it requires a shake of the head... recovery from dizziness, disorientation and altered perspective, no?
Also, the Rendlesham Forest Event (a military encounter with UFOs in the 1980's - something I've looked into before and posted about via my Conspiracies and Weird Stuff blog, the link to which can be found in the right sidebar here) and some tidbits about WikiLeaks...
Stare At This 4 - 30 Seconds, Just To FEEL IT, you know - the effect?
Feeling dizzy yet?
No...? Oh! Well, just head on over to the Rabbit Hole now
Good luck!
Day 735 is brought to you by The Rabbit, Vrilion and the Rendlesham Forest Sky-Bound Dancers (UFOs - okay, so it's not very funny...I tried) and is associated with dissociation, dizziness and rabbit hole disorientation, however it was posted on Thursday December 16 2010.

Day 742 (Tidbits)
I feel there's a call to action on THE 800 DAYS BLOG for DAY 742. It's visible within the first few lines of the entry:
"Be an agent of calm in your own life."
Then, immediately following: "Do This or Die."
A short commentary by a Doyle Dane Benbach Inc goes with the do or die message but the text is uncharacteristically small here, compared to most 800 DAYS blog text. * Suggestion: Read over this smaller than normal text, ANYWAY - because it contains more than one important observation and "call to action" for society in general... particularly about what is before our eyes, and what COULD be before our eyes that is better than what we're currently seeing before our eyes today!
I want to significantly highlight a quote from the 800 DAYS post, written by a new friend, Kat Vale, who is also a certain blogger's (Blake's) MOM!
There is an explanation for the extinction of dinosaurs on the Day 742 post. Now many who read this will say "That's ridiculous - okay, so it's a joke, right?"
Right!
But...think carefully on what explanations you've been given about dinosaurs in the past and to date... many of the "currently accepted notions" about the extinct beings/dinosaurs are a little hard to chew on. You might want to spit those notions back out, go do some research on your own, employ some critical thinking...
Oh! Here's a novel idea... why not do research - not so much on explanations about dinosaurs... but instead - look up the bio information on the people who are considered experts on dinosaurs...see what their affiliations are, who their colleagues are, where their projects, funding, facilities are...
In my experience, you'll find that much that is accepted as scientific explanation and "fact" on major topics and issues - is theory and may not be rational. However - if many people say it and begin to believe it, the explanation will become "the answer to the question" no matter if the answer makes sense or not.
Just some psycho-babble ideas to go along with Blakes post.

Day 749 (Tidbits)
Here is the question again...
Is December 21 2012 going to be our last day?
The Day 749 post on THE 800 DAYS blog asks the question in a slightly different way:
Is This the Last Maya Prophecy, of the Last Day of the Earth, Dec. 21, 2012 ?
For this article and blog post, Blake mentions the topic of Y2K, the Mayan Long Count Calendar as well as the Roman Calendar, the sundial, waterclock and dung beetle. Also mentioned are Kino, Cortez and Ponce de Leon and "The Codex" which was handled by the aforemetioned historical people.
What you'll be reading on The 800 Days blog is an opinionated post - this much is true - but it is opinion backed by the author's strong arguments and knowledge of various documents and study of religious texts, ancient cultures, certain historical personalities and more.
In my humble opinion, the call to action here is to PAY ATTENTION to the prophecies - learn about them, but also take note of where these prophecies come from, who may have touched and altered ancient source documents, etc.
Most interesting...it seems Blake has a prophet of sorts in his family lineage (A Navajo tribal elder). Blake was offered some wisdown in a conversation with the elder quite some time ago. I leave it to you to go to THE 800 DAYS blog and see the message Blake relates from his elder...

Day 756 (Tidbits)
Well, it's going to be obvious by the Day 756 entry onto THE 800 DAYS blog that Mr. B. Hall has a near obsession with Mr. Burroughs! The first thing on the said post on said blog is a 2 minute and 25 second message via you tube video and the message is from a William S. Burroughs... from Thanksgiving Day (In USA) on the date of November 28th, 1986.
And a message of harsh social commentary this is! This must be some You Tube member's tribute to Burroughs, I imagine - but regardless, this is a gem of a tribute that Blake found! If you're looking for feelgood, warm fuzzy feelings from this video, you'll have to go elsewhere (my suggestion is go back to listen to Eden Sky's messages: Day 774/Blake's 800 Days blog). If you're looking for telling-it-like-it-is, have a listen to Burroughs' viewpoints once you get to the Day 756/800Days blog post.
And if that wasn't enough... Blake relates a truly funny AND baffling story about a Thanksgiving event that was both sad and silly and that truly happened... It's called "Talking Turkey." Really, if I mention any of it here, I will start laughing and turn red with embarrassment (on behalf of Blake's unfortunate friend mentioned in the story). Go directly to The 800 days blog via the link above and read for yourself!
Now, my mind is already thinking up some jokes - in bad taste, too - however, because I do feel poorly for the unfortunate friend in the Talking Turkey story, I am going to refrain from writing/saying anything derogatory... and just say "What a freakin' TURKEY that guy was..."
:) (that's a mild statement compared to the jokes Blake makes in reasonable taste - in the article)
All I can say is that I'm glad that Thanksgiving Day is in the past for Blake and Blake's friends and that things turned out alright in the end because now many handfuls of people have a fantastic story to tell each year on Thanksgiving Day... and all but 1 person can actually laugh and not turn red with embarrassment about the event from the past! That's not a bad score - dozens to one? Not much loss incurred there!
:)

Day 763 (Tidbits)
Welcome to the world of "ZEN," brought to you by Blake Hall.
Although there are some quotes and very short stories on Day 763 of The 800 Days blog, do not take them all too lightly, please.
There are some definite light-hearted details on the Day 763 post, however, there are also bits of wisdom embedded in the quotes. If you read each quote then pause, you'll likely find that larger messages reside in the funny details...even messages that are pertinent pieces of wisdom for your life today.
It's a look at Zen worldview without having ZEN placed too harshly in your face.
Day 763 in the 800 Days Countdown is Thursday November 18, 2010.
(this post is short because the quotes on the 800 DAYS blog are important to ponder over rather than focusing on my ramble)

Day 770 (Tidbits)
The post offered on Day 770 of THE 800 DAYS BLOG contains numbers...
A LOT OF NUMBERS.
Even SPECIFIC Numbers - and, that's basically what the whole post is about. What you're going to read about when you visit the 800 DAYS blog is "11:11 THEORY." These aren't all "Time" or "clock" prompts, but can also be a series of recurring numbers ie: 9999, 888, 1213, 7777, 242526, 8989, and so on. Apparently there are some people who almost always see these prompts whether they are planning on it or not. What I mean is, they're not consciously aware of constantly looking back and forth at clocks - or numbers - in fact, they're probably not attempting in any way to prompt themselves or keep tabs on numbers or the clock...what is happening is that, quite naturally, when they're in everyday - even mundane - activities do they DO HAPPEN TO glance at the clock, other time-pieces, digital technology, they're seeing consecutive or patterened numbers!
Are they subconsciously in some sort of obsessive time-checking or a similar obsession? People who are reporting this don't think so and, personally, I don't really think they're doing this obsessively either...at least some people aren't.
The kicker: this time-checking CAN BECOME obsessive for a little while IF YOU WORRY ABOUT IT or if you don't take a healthy viewpoint on this matter.
Personally, this 11:11 Theory is a curious matter - a strange phenomena to me, however, even if I don't understand it or what's going on surrounding 11:11 events and theory, I am perfectly "OKAY" to let 11:11 happen around me, unexplained. Oh sure, I want to know WHY these prompts happen, but I look into a TON of strange topics, paranormal items, urban legend and folklore - even HORROR genre tidbits - so I am content to read up on this 11:11 stuff and let it be until I come across a really valid explanation that satisfies my curiousity.
Oh wait a minute...
I just glanced at my clock. It says 12:13 as I am still typing...I just typed "1213" above just a couple of minutes ago... that was probably at around 12:11 and through 12:12... until when I looked just now and the clock said "12:13" - very curious coincidence?
Hmm curious, right?
The date for the Day 770 post: Thursday November 11, 2010.

Day 777 (Tidbits)
The post for Day 777 is totally BOOKMARKED in my browser because it contains an excellent list of reading materials that are really important for people to read if they wish to get out of "robotic mind-mode" and "manufactured-consent" mode and simply if they want to start being able to THINK INDIVIDUALLY. I will have need to return to the reading list on The 800 Days blog until I'm further up to par with these titles.
Ultimately, Blake has my full attention here, especially 'cos in the Day 777 post, Blake appears as a "Fortean" in displaying some "uncommon" but important book titles.
Now, don't get the wrong idea about the term, "Fortean," because this term has a derogatory connotation attached to it by "pop-culture" non-thinkers... the pop-culture derogatory meaning is that Forteans are "whack-jobs," "nuts," "nutty," "off their rockers." This has come about because original supporters of Fort appreciated out-of-box thinking and information sources that were uncommon and not from mainstream sources. Naturally, mainstream sources basically turned a "name-calling" trick on Fortean thinkers (related term, "Forteana" to describe materials/sources that are uncommon, sometimes "arcane"), hence, Forteans and sources - Forteana - have become "joke terms" and derogatory in our times. Personally, I think many of the writers I appreciate - and also of course, Blake Hall - should be considered "Forteans" - in all positive senses of the word. Forteans simply choose to delve into information and materials that most people aren't paying attention to - also - delving into materials that have been banned (often with a motivation to figure out WHY the materials were banned).
The term, "Fortean" comes from the name, Charles Hoy Fort. Now the late Mr. Fort is considered to have been quite eccentric, it's true, but if you look more deeply into the bio of Charles Fort, you'll learn that - in part - his shying away from mainstream society had something to do with the fact that he studied "uncommon" topics, rare books, old newspaper and magazine clippings that (grab your seat and HANG ON!) were out of MAINSTREAM CIRCULATION... Also, Mr. Fort wasn't well appreciated in his time and basically lived quite an impoverished lifestyle. Hence "out of the limelight" has no bearning on "validity of source/activity." Mr. Fort basically did nothing but research into topics and reading materials that almost nobody else in his day and age would touch!

Anyway - that aside, here are my favourite words in the Day 777 post:

Anyway - that aside, here are my favourite words in the Day 777 post:
"DO NOT SETTLE FOR A GUEST APPEARANCE IN YOUR OWN LIFE"
I am only psssed that I cannot make these words larger
;)
I also liked the COMMAND: "BE THE PLAGUE" but realize that out of context, this little phrase can be misconstrued, so I will find another article or way to project THAT message out there...
If the words at the beginning of the post, all in caps - don't make you shudder...that is, if you DO NOT identify with at least some of the things being conveyed there - if you do NOT turn the words on to yourself and feel somehow at least slightly imperfect and like you need to make changes.....
I say this to you:
BEEEEEEE ! ESSSSSS!
Bullshyt...
Unless, of course, you're quite perfect, then you've had the experience before - or now - of wondering, "Hmmm did I just get OWNED in that situation?" and "Oh man... did I STEP UP when I should have," or the opposite, "Shoot, did I run away from that situation?" or anything like, "Have I used critical thinking in order to DO THE RIGHT THING?"
Well... heck, we're all human - and AS SUCH... it is necessary to modify our behaviors and thinking, bringing them back to a balance and centre... or else we can be very much like the way things are in the letters with all caps at the beginning of the Day 777 post. Here's a BIGGER HINT... Day 777 beginning of post - all in CAPS - simply: "BE MINDFUL."
I'll say that again' 'cos it's such a quick summary of the caps-text:
BE MINDFUL !!!
Loving the caplock button today...
An important article from The 800 Days blog post:
Looking at a Survival Guide For "The Year 200o Problem" In Retrospect"
I think this article is important to read because - if you're on THIS blog and have been visiting Blake's 800 Days blog, then you're not a little kid... this means that the year 2000 is something you lived through already - INCLUDING the Y2K Scares... so go read the article above and reflect on how "MINDLESS" some of society became, as a whole, in the year 2000.
Let's not GO THERE AGAIN!
A MORE IMPORTANT ARTICLE: (the book list)
Important Books Nobody Reads (on Magick and the Occult)
Trust me, you're not going to explode if you read the works from the list...
I don't care how busy you are or what is on your schedule for 2011 or even what New Years Resolutions you're getting ready to make as the year 2010 winds down... I feel people should make "CRITICAL THINKING" a priority in the coming days! The book list is a great way to start LEARNING about things that are out of mainstream common ideology and out of mainstream media...

Day 784 (Tidbits)
If the previous articles that were related to or about "Wicca" or "Witchcraft" were of interest to you, then you'll probably also enjoy the blog post on Day 784 on the countdown blog, The 800 Days.
This particular post goes into further detail about the history of Witchcraft as related to the military (U.S.) and otherwise - and the post also has details under the following headings:
This Day 784 page might be one you want to bookmark for referring back to at a future date. None of the text is complicated or hard to understand - there are just a lot of explanations, in brief, about Witchcraft here - with probably just enough details that you'll need to read through this information two or three times over the next while - in order to commit some of these tidbits to memory.

Day 791 (Tidbits)
What freakin' month is it?
Ohyeah - it's OCTOBER... the month which ends with All Saint's Day and Eve... Hallowe'en, Samhain, Trick or Treat night, basically spooky-gimme-candy-night in most places in the Western world.
So maybe THIS is why Day 791 over on The 800 Days blog is about an interview with a real witch...while the previous Day 792 post was about an interview with a vampire, Montague...
Ah... it all makes a great bunch of sense now... a witch and a vampire - just in time for Hallowe'en...except that Montague and the interviewed witch for Day 791, Mary Chapman, are really not going to help you to "buy into" the whole candy-coated Hallowe'en myth set... read the interview, you'll see!
For those who think witches are Satanists and without morality, be prepared to have your thought processes turned around - by Mary's more than moral explanations about her worldview and standards. If even half the world employed the same standards in their daily lives as Mary speaks about, there would be a whole lot of peace, tolerance and human understanding in the world...
PUT THAT in your cauldron and stir on it a while...
Among the things Blake asks Mary to comment on:
Personally, I don't know how anyone can walk away from reading this information with an opinion of Witches as generally bad, immoral or dangerous people... of course, some who identify as Witches can obviously be of bad temperament and with bad designs in life... but it would be a mistake to say "Witches are generally (insert negative)," because it's simply not true. I found that, according to the interview, Mary C. seems an extremely interesting benevolent person.
The Article: Safe Hex - an Interview with a Modern American Witch About Being a Woman, Wife, Wiccan, and the Practice of Witchcraft
There's not much more I can or should say "in review" of this article. Some of the explanations Chapman gets into are detailed and lengthy but very clearly voiced - best left in her own words rather than mentioned by my interpretation. I'll just finish off with the comment that I am very impressed with the clarity and honesty with which Chapman speaks on even the more controversial aspects of Blake's questions (sexuality, blood, rituals) and how she dispells some of the myths about WiccanCraft and Witches... if readers come away from the "Safe Hex" article STILL thinking of evil witch personas, I will have to argue that the readers are just being stubborn and beligerent and never intended to read the article with open-mindedness in the first place...
That's my viewpoint and I'm sticking to it!

Among the things Blake asks Mary to comment on:
- What is a Witch?
- What is Magic?
- Mary's viewpoints on sensuality, eroticism and spirituality (yes, they are all allowed to be in the same sentence together)
- What is the difference between love and sexuality?
- ...and much, much more.
Day 798 (Tidbits)
What I like about The 800 Days blog is that - early on - the author is willing to examine even theories and ideas he doesn't currently hold to be his own strongly held beliefs. The 800 Days blog isn't solely about the author trying to push his opinion on you...
ie: "[...] while I don't believe in some of these things personally, they are on the list due to the billions of folk that do believe in them." from post 798.9.
What kind of blog would The 800 Days blog be if it was solely just to persuade you into one rigid, set way of thinking? (hint: another rant-filled, narrow-focused blog like we see splashed all over the internet and are becoming agitated by in our "advanced" age of info-mation and technology). Bore, bore, bore...
On a better note (caught myself getting into rant-mode, myself lol)
Day 798 posts will take the reader into more in-depth explanations of the 13-Moon Calendar (the "DECODER" that has already been mentioned - if you need the link again: 13 Moon Calendar - DECODER) and astrological details, using Blake's birthdate. There are step-by-step explanations, pictures/charts, etc., so readers can understand each symbol and term involved with the 13-Moon Calendar, according to how Blake's birthdate functions within the structure of dates, timing, symbols, etc.
I'm working through the Day 798 explanations as well... I'm learning here as I go, just like you might be if you've just started reading The 800 Days blog as well as my "following" blog. I'll post more once I figure out what all my astrological details mean/are, according to the 13 Moon Calendar.
