Day 670 (Tidbits)

There are some fantastic photos on Blake4d's Day 670 post on the ever expanding The 800 Days blog. Get ready for some OUT OF THIS WORLD information as you prepare to read the Day 670 post.

The opening paragraph:

"In January 2004 the American space agency NASA successfully landed two rovers onto the Martian surface this page is a picturial tribute to their historical and somewhat secret journeys across the Gusev Crater region. Please feel free to download all photographs on this site and re-distribute them across the net."
...is from Mars Uncensored/Paul Goodwin.

There are many statements/concepts you'll have to fit your head around in Blake's 800Days article for Day 670, such as:
  • NASA was established as a civilian space programme by the National Aeronautics and Space Act on July 29, 1958
  • NASA was formed to replace the (predecessor) National Advisory Committee for Aeronautics (NACA)
  • NASA distorts the findings from Earth's sister planet, Mars, by sending SOME news, allowing some news out while holding back other pertinent findings.
  • (ie: findings of certain gasses, elements on Mars is brought forth as big news - while other known features/findings on Mars are suppressed and not voiced)
  • NASA uses the tool of "image tampering" to distort facts/data even beyond information suppression - providing some sources who report to the general public - with faulty information (which in turn makes it seem like other sources are faulty, tampering with the images, untrustworthy)
  • much much more naughty NASA stuff
There are many technical tidbits in Blake's article that you'll need to mull over. Although I understand the messages and concepts provided by Blake and Paul Goodwin, I may not be a good teacher or deliverer of this kind of technical information. Therefore, I'm not going to even try to put some of this stuff into my own layman's terms or re-state much of what's on the Day 670 post in my own terms. You'll definitely have to go read the article!

Hey! GO READ THE ARTICLE: Day 670, on 800 Days blog!

If you get lost in the content over there (at 800Days blog), don't worry - tons of images that you won't be displeased with. While checking out images, don't forget to read over the text provided of Bob Dean's words at the Project Camelot LA "Awake and Aware" conference, held on September 19th 2009. The quote Blake provides starts with, "They [authorities, NASA] don't know how to lift the lid on this subject..."

The information doesn't stop after Goodwin's and Dean's assertions. I'll just name-drop and word-drop here to provide a few names and phrases that are in the Day 670 article:

  • NASA
  • Paul Goodwin
  • Bob Dean
  • Margaret Mead
  • Brookings Report/Brookings Institute
  • "guys from other dimensions"
  • portals
  • multidimensional
  • more advanced societies

Day 677

Over on Blake's The 800 Days blog there is some comic relief (vid-clip of Robin Williams' "Golf" comedy bits) for the Day 677 post - along with a Force Majeure statement...

Force Majeure statements generally free involved or associated parties from liabilities when unseen circumstances or extraordinary events and circumstances cause said parties unable to fulfilling obligations. This is the short and basic explanation, anyway.

Where a "obligations" are concerned - with respect to The 800 Days blog, there is no heavy-handed signed legal contract, anyway, for Blake (or myself) to provide unlimited absolutely steady content online (or content strictly of a certain type). There is, however, a sort of unspoken agreement (along with some expectations) that all parties (Blake, myself, readers) enter into concerning blog posting... whereby content goes out (and is read) in steady fashion.

My thoughts are that this Force Majeure piece can be used to remind readers that, basically, "stuff happens" sometimes... to prevent a steady flow of content to the 800 DAYS project.

The Force Majeure created by Blake is definitely worth reading closely as it contains a mix of comedy, reality, satire, seriousness, social commentary and is its own little bit of art.

Day 684 (Tidbits)

Freedom of Speech and what Anonymous Hacktivists think of Freedom of Speech are on Blake Hall's THE 800 DAYS BLOG, for entry Day 684.

And since an important document is outlined regarding human rights and freedom of speech, I'm keeping my post to an absolute minimum here.

I think it is important for people to read and understand their rights and I've found that many people do not even understand their human rights...

Without further delay, go read about rights and I'll knock off early on this post.

The Day 684 post contains important information about Human Rights and is associated with Saturday February 5 2011.

Day 691 (Tidbits)

Another batch of activities from the Hackvist group, ANONYMOUS, was under way in late January 2011, but this activity was no hub-bub (loud, confused noise from many sources) stuff. The entity of Anonymous appears to use concerted efforts to gain attention, make statements, and draw attention to itself, along with perceived wrongs in the world.

Blake has been dutifully bringing the news of Anonymous' activities and statements to THE 800 DAYS blog - and his Day 691 post is another update on the doings and statements of Anonymous.

I like the image Blake placed at the top of the post... the pic shows a rather cheeky-looking moustached pharoah or idol... Nice!

Oh! That's the "V for Vendetta" face artistically imposed over the golden pharoah figure, isn't it?

Fitting! Again - nice.

Once more, Blake also provides more links to Anonymous' activities and additional information about this group/entity, so if you're at all interested in Anonymous, please be sure to check out and follow the links provided in the Day 691 post on The 800 Days blog. There actually now exists, an "AnonNews," and if Blake finds there's anything new circulating about Anonymous, he's promised to get it posted to the blog, so keep tuning in!

Enjoy the Anonymous information and the links. I'm cutting this post short so I can follow some links, myself, as I'm quite far behind on how to keep abreast of what Anonymous is up to!

The Day 691 vendetta post - oops I mean - the entry on the 800Days blog is associated with hacktivism as well as the date, Saturday January 29 2011.

Think in V-minor?

Day 698 (Tidbits)

More news and words from Anonymous have been featured on the Day 698 entry of The 800 Days blog. These words are a scathing social commentary that, in my humble opinion (and obviously by Blake's point of view, as well), should be considered with a great deal of critical thinking.

Blake has also provided some links to other locations online where you'll find "Anonymous" bits - radio, news and such.

In the spirit of catching on Blake's content, I am keeping this post extremely short - partly because I have in excess of 20 posts to catch up on after a little break I took from blogging in February, and in part because I cannot reiterate the words of Anonymous without breaking with the intensity of the Anonymous messages!

The Day 698 post is associated with Saturday January 22 2011.

Day 705 (Tidbits)

A Prominent message for the Day 705 entry on Blake Hall's THE 800 DAYS blog is clear, without question, and is presented in an image you can't miss at the beginning of the post:

"Do all the good you can, by all the means you can, in all the ways you can, in all the places you can, to all the people you can, as long as you ever can."

The only thing I might at to that request is, "Do good to/for every creature and living thing that you can."

If you're thinking these words seem familiar, you're probably right - because they're a request/prescriptive from someone we've encountered on Blake's blog in several previous posts - EDEN SKY!

Rather than interpret Eden Sky's words, Blake has linked directly to Eden Sky's "Awakening Galactic Culture" blog, an interview/audio spot (on "Cosmic Love Radio" Topic: Sacred Essence of Time, etc) online where you can hear Eden Sky, herself, and a link to the 13moon website. We've seen the 13 Moon site before but here's your chance to make sure you bookmark the site if you had forgotten when the 13 Moon site was mentioned before:

13 Moon .com [leads to page on 13 Moon site housing several more Eden Sky interviews/audios]

The Cosmic Love Radio interview link (interview date, 2011/01/01) can also be found at the link above (as on Blake's Blog). If you go to the audio via Blake's THE 800 DAYS BLOG, just be aware that when you click the link over there, the mp3 file at that location will immediately prompt your media player (just in case you're worried about a pop-up happening). You may have to make sure your pop-up blocker is off... I have listened to the mp3 and used the link a couple of times and it has been a completely safe process through my system.

I'm listening to this particular interview RIGHT NOW - and I urge readers to pay CLOSE ATTENTION to the concepts of time here, as explained by Eden Sky. These concepts not entirely new to me (one of my favourite books EVER is called "Time Wars: The Primary Conflict in Human History" by Jeremy Rifkin) - however - there are so few people to discuss this content with who are even aware of the concepts that it's frustrating to even bring this topic up with people, as far as I am concerned. It would be wonderful if you return here and comment on the concepts from the Eden Sky/Cosmic Love Radio content!

I really like the quote Blake choose to end this Day 705 entry with. It acts as a meditational concept for me that is quite uplifting and empowering, "We are the Song of the Stars Remembering our Beauty and Purpose." (Eden Sky).

This quote reminds me of "Harmony of the Spheres," (originating from Pythagorian worldview. Pythagoras, who influenced Plato and Aristotle).

The Day 705 content is associated with Eden Sky, Cosmic Love Radio, the date Saturday January 15 2011.

Day 712 (Tidbits)

Okay, Mythbuster is freaked right out about the content for day 712 over on Blake's blog. Apparently, I don't do proper computer maintenance and management and the awareness of this is stark, right in front of my face as I read the Day 712 entry over on THE 800 DAYS web log!

Blake is featuring content/tips from a friend, Rothlyn Giles, on proper cleaning up and maintenance of the home computer. There are 98 points featured - in great detail, might I add?

So... Mythbuster got to about point 3 before realizing it's been ages since I defragged (no 1 thing to do for maintenance with your home computer).

I feel like a dunce (look for this word in the glossary tab) since I am on this THING (PC) on a daily basis.

These instructions on PC Maintenance are for the Windows operating system and Giles is a programmer, so you can rest assured that the advice on computer care is coming from someone who knows computers literally inside and out!

Personally, I think having Rothlyn Giles on my Facebook is a good idea since I am sloppy, as yet, with my computer care, so I have already added R. Giles to my FB friends list. I decided NOT to wait 'til I feel like this:

...before making sure there's a great PC expert on my FB friends list!

Now off I go to defrag...

Day 719 (Tidbits)

YAY... I'm so happy that Blake is starting off the first post of the year with content about Native Americans!

Check out Day 719 on the THE 800 DAYS BLOG!

A couple of posts back, I'm sure I mentioned I am part Cree. For me, this means a lot of confusion and struggling to find people who know about the Cree elders, about Cree culture.

Sadly, Cree individuals - right now, right as I type - are being absorbed into primarily Blackfoot culture in my region and across many areas of North America. This means a blending of some cultural things between Cree and Blackfoot but also means that Cree will adopt more Blackfoot ways than Cree ways they can salvage.

I have only listened to "Rowena's Theme" - the vid posted at the beginning of the blog post. I've viewed the titles of the videos (messages from Native elders) which follow and on this day of new beginnings, and because the cultural topic is close to my heart, I'm going to post my blog entry without reviewing all videos before I end my post. Then I will smuge before continuing on to hear the Elders' messages...I have been listening to Rowena's Theme to settle my heart and mind into what I intend for the next half hour or so.

I will smudge and speak to All My Relations and ask the (1) ancient ones (the first peoples who passed away long ago), (2) the old ones (who passed away very long ago), (3) the relatives just departed (recently deceased), (4) spirits of current natives/elders (living, not necessarily family relatives but related by culture and beliefs and humanity), (5) my children (my son, and the current children of humanity alive today), (6) my children's children (children this generation has yet to bring forth in the world), (7) and my grandchildren's children (my children's children, yet to be born, as well) for wisdom, understanding, spiritual guidance - Seven (yes, 7) generations of permissions and guidance as I begin interacting with and reflecting on humanity in this brand new year.

If you would like to do the same, I invite you to smudge or pray to the deity of your culture or choice and participate in a ritual to acknowledge the beginning of the Year 2011 and the wisdom and humanity of those who came before you, are with us presently and those who will follow after us.

I may not return here to comment later on the content of the vids (I may feel the words therein are sacred or have meaning I wish to interpret on my own and leave readers to interpret as they see fit, since it is the elders speaking in the vids), but will soon post the vids at the vid/audio tab location with the other media clips on this blog.

Welcome to this New Year in 2011!

Day 726 (Tidbits)

The post on THE 800 DAYS BLOG on the special day of Day 726 is a Christmas Day post.

It's short.

The video that is contained in the Day 726 post is interesting, to say the least

AND IT'S D I F F E R E N T

...and I like it.

Christmas isn't my favourite day of the year...so I really enjoyed the video and that it wasn't a Christmas Carol medly or something.

Just to prove I'm not a total SCROOGE, I'm placing my favourite Christmas song on my own post here...

(I used to play this song, myself, in band - French Horn)

YAY!! GO GO Gadget Guitar!!!
Song: "O Holy Night"
MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Day 733 (Tidbits)

Mood Music time again, Courtesy of Blake Hall IV! Not only that, but also more of Blake's poetry.

Titles:
The Test (Vid) - Chemical Brothers with Robin Ashcroft
Elle Erotica Gallante (Poetry) - Poet, Blake Hall IV
As Love Evolved (Poetry) - Poet, Blake Hall IV

I would recommend that you push "play" on the youtube vid, settle into your chair comfortably, then begin to read Blake's two poems. Take your time, breathe at the end of each line - stop to ponder the words and meanings on a line-by-line basis...

Then...scroll to the top and read again...the same way - without the music...

Any difference?

Day 739 (Tidbits)

And we return to a recent and pertinent topic - Cyberwars... Well, some are calling what's going on "Info Wars" and others are using the new-fangled term "Cyberwars," but regardless, SOMETHING is going on out in cyberspace with information and transmitting electronic data!

Apparently an arrest was made concerning the December 9th (2010) incident...a 16 year old (from The Hague) was taken into custody and seized his computer equipment for investigations after electronic attempts to mess with the Paypal, Visa, Mastercard, and Swedish government websites. The teen confessed to being involved with an organized, large scale DDoS attack aimed at said websites...The Swedish government issued a warrant (International!) against alleged sex offenses against WikiLeaks founder, Julian Assange...

Do you think this sounds like Science Fiction or movie plot fare?

Well, it's not...

Apparently, the hacker group who initiated the cyber attacks against major institutions is known as Anonymous and is campaigning in a serious, electronic, noticeable way - on the side of "Freedom of Speech." Anonymous is impressive, TO ME, because they have EFFECTIVELY campaigned and acted in what can be considered a non-aggressive way. This group has not planned or caused any bodily harm to anyone, and this group of hacktivist individuals has used no traditional weapons to cause harm to anyone, HOWEVER, people need to take ANONYMOUS seriously...because Anonymous has already shown the ability and motivation to do things on the behalf of a general public that we used to only see in movies, read in books, view in the arts...

Day 740 (Tidbits)

Apparently, the author of THE 800 DAYS BLOG feels it is time for some humour on the 740th day of keeping onto this blog project! Yes, I know I just spelled humour using a "u" in it... I'm a Canuk, we spell it that way where I am from.

Anyway, perhaps we've had too many serious posts. Perhaps we've asked too many serial errr serious questions or something... in any case, Blake decided that "funny" - or at least "less serious" - is the overall tone for Day 740 on The 800 Days blog.

*whew*

Now, even though I review most of the content and such, according to whatever Blake is writing and presenting/displaying from post to post, I cannot do justice in the least to the photo images posted on Day 740, so you'll have to use the links (you know where they are...above) and check out some perspective in black and white...

As for the text content immediately following the images, I have to say I really have enjoyed the "Creation Story" albeit tongue-in-cheek... it's not your average or ordinary Creation Myth... Entitled, "GOD AND THE CREATION."

Go find out how God created this world!

*thumbsup* Good one, Blake!

Day 747 (Tidbits)

Okay people... it's finally out of the bag.

The truth about Christ!

Proof, on THE 800 DAYS blog within the Day 747 post, authored by ours truly - BLAKE HALL IV...

Do you want to know why Christ died?

You'll have your answer once you go to the post from the link above and examine the first photo posted there...examine it very carefully...

Yes, you see it right - Christ Died For Our Dunkin' Donuts!

Alright, so I'm being cheeky here...but I believe the picture can do something very important for every reader...

That pic can make the reader examine PERSPECTIVE!

Nobody's lying or doing anything wrong here - or there - in that photo. No touch-ups, lies, hoaxes going on - just an honest photo shot from a particular stand point. The "scene" shows the message, "Christ Died For Our Dunkin' Donuts." Nothing is messed up, altered, etc. It's all about PERSPECTIVE. The standpoint by which a person is standing, the physical/(mental, too) viewpoint from which someone is at a particular moment and time...can make one view things a certain way. Honestly.

What is more difficult in this world is THINKING CRITICALLY - and you'll need to do so right NOW while you read the rest of Blake's article on the 800 DAYS blog...

It's about CULTS...

And still - it's about PERSPECTIVE... Lenses...views. What lens do YOU view Christ and religion under? What standpoint do you step into when you think about belief systems? Are you looking at a whole picture or pieces of a picture which make a whole? From your standpoint, are there "extras" in the way?

Okay, the person responsible for that picture did do something special. The person took NOTE of a difference in perspective in something that was in blatant, obvious physical view...and somehow KNEW that pointing a camera toward the scene in question, snapping off a picture, would produce a certain alternative perspective outside of the norm... In a small way, the photographer performed a manipulation...saw an opportunity to blur and twist the commonly shared perspective (about why Christ was sacrificed) - by showing a different existing message that was out in the open and visible - at least from a certain standpoint.

I'm sure this all relates to a similar process that occurs with cults, cult leaders and cult followers...

Blake discusses a particular cult on THE 800 Days blog...
PEOPLE UNLIMITED.

Please spend some time thinking about viewpoints here as you read...

Day 747 on THE 800 DAYS blog gels with Saturday December 4 2010.

Day 754 (Tidbits)

Okay, getting back on track here after some absenteeism from the blog over the past 3 wks. The content is interesting for me regarding the Day 754 post on Blake's THE 800 DAYS blog because it's about UFO Theories.

MORESO, it's about our seeming discomfort (doh! we've been oppressed/suppressed over these matters, haven't we?) over talking about UFO Theories and similar things that I saw a common theme for...

Common Theme: topics whereby certain authorities have no sound explanations for what we observe or experience. Additionally, reasonable explanations not forthcoming, the same authorities generally INSIST that we believe that we observed or experienced NOTHING or that we experienced/observed some phenomena whose origin lies in our own faulty physical body mechanism(s). ie: "you must have heard or saw wrong - there must be something wrong with you and your body."

Well, a whole lot of us must have the same sorts of things wrong with our bodies because UFO sightings, shadow people sightings, people reporting that they see angels - or demons, etc., are all on the rise. Enough people are starting to whisper, then talk louder, then talk out in the open, then talk in large groups - then even talk to/with authorities in numbers... that the whole world is soon going to have to STOP minimizing the strange sightings and current strange events that people are experiencing.

I like the phrase Blake uses in the Day 754 post, "Closed Mind Syndrome," and I think Blake is right... we're going to all have to recover from this Closed Mind Syndrome very soon so we can take a good, hard look at what's around us, what's happening in the world.

I am a fan of the late John Keel (d. 2009) and have been reading Keel articles and books for a little while now. His material is never a once-over for me...I refer back to Keel often when looking into anything paranormal, anything to do with legend, hoaxes, unexplained phenomena.

Here's a favourite Keel quote:

"This planet is haunted by us; the other occupants just evade boredom by filling our skies and seas with monsters." (1976, The Mothman Prophecies). Now, I believe that what Keel is getting at here is our human species' propensity for inventing explanations, for associating psychological impositions of meaning on things, and for the propaganda authorities and even just the average joe builds to explain the unexplainable...

My explanation of the Keel statement might seem to be in direct opposition to things said earlier in this post... I know I said something like "It's about time people start talking about things" and then, more recently, I've named the human species as one who propagandizes and makes shyt up...

Well... these things aren't the opposite of one another... it's COMPLICATED... so I return to my original statements - IT'S ABOUT TIME PEOPLE STARTED TALKING and could feel "okay" talking about strange and unexplained (possibly unexplainable) things.

Keel, in his lifetime, saw a lot of things, talked to a lot of people and even had some strange experiences first-hand in paranormal fields but all in all, in his whole lifetime, he didn't manage to come up with a solid explanation or air-tight theory about what the world was about or what objects, beings, entities were being sighted but he did seem to believe that first off, we need to feel that we can have DISCUSSIONS about things without worrying about being "should-ed and don't-ed" by any authorities.

We also need to have reasonable discussions - AND - hear and speak on theories about unexplained things even if some of those ideas sound "funny" or what-not...

On THE 800 DAYS blog Blake has brought forth 10 theories/hypothesis statements:
  1. UFOs Do Not Exist
  2. Religious/Supernatural Explanations
  3. The Wartime Secret Weapon
  4. The Hollow Earth
  5. The Underwater Civilization
  6. The Space Animal
  7. The Extraterrestrials
  8. Time Travel
  9. The Ultraterrestrials
  10. Psychic Projections
To my understanding, all of these hypotheses/theories have both plausible and WEIRD components. Let's discuss these details openly - even if some of the statements are "out there."

By now, if you've been following Blake's blog posts and mine, you'll know we can both easily be emailed or found on Facebook for discussion.

Day 761 (Tidbits)

There's an audio selection set upon the Day 761 post and within the larger scope of THE 800 DAYS blog content that is amazing, in my humble opinion...

If you do NOT feel calmed and garner positive feelings from hitting the "play" arrow over on the 800 DAYS blog, well... I just wouldn't know what to say to that because as soon as I started listening, I felt more calm, and got in touch with a more positive set of "I" statements within...

I was reviewing other materials before I checked out the audio on Blake's 800 Days blog today. These materials were Doomsday and Apocalypse articles, videos and audios - so although I have my own pretty solid beliefs about these matters and am not actually afraid of some of the prophecy materials that I see online in various media forms, I admit - some of the information is pessimistic and FRIGHTENING... if one gets into a mindset of believing in some of what might only be propaganda, misinformation or disinformation about Doomsday and Apocalypse Theories...

The audio selection is called "Agents of Calm" and has narrative and vocal messages on it from EDEN SKY... Christian Burne mixed the selection, so credit goes, in part, to Mr. Burne for aligning great audio with vocal bytes!

Also in this post...

THE GALACTIC BUTTERFLY... something that I didn't have much awareness of prior to reading the content for Day 761 on Blake's blog. Strangely, it must have been just the right time and head-space for me to read this blog post right on this day because in my earlier activities, along with pessimistic concepts about the future, I did learn a lot more (on a positive note) about symbols, the importance and power of symbols... so the giant, revolving GALACTIC BUTTERFLY image that is flippin' around on Blake's Day 761 post seems really important and interesting to me now. I'll refrain from describing or explaining the concepts around The Galactic Butterfly here because Blake's attention to this topic is well done over on his blog. Instead, I'll insert a definition soon for "Galactic Butterfly" in the Glossary section/tab of the blog here.

There are some charts, 13-moon calendar information, 260-day calendar explanations and things that are better left on the 800 DAYS blog... I'd just be tossing jargon out if I explained here as "narratives," psych and sociology stuff, legends and related details are more my area of experience. I'm still learning much about the various calendars as Blake posts content. If you're a beginner just heading into or just becoming interested in 2012/Mayan Calendar topics, and find a bit of this stuff confusing, I HEAR YA!!! I know what this feels like... but we'll learn together!

Day 768 (Tidbits)

Crash course happenin' now on THE 800 DAYS blog for a wonderful Day 768 post!

Wait a sec' - let me announce this in a more official way so people sit up and NOTICE!

HEY!!! It's the Official Pagan Mini-Crash Course Happening RIGHT NOW on THE 800 DAYS BLOG!

Okay but seriously...

There's some decent information for people who want to know just a smidgen about Paganism and it's on the Day 768 post of The 800 Days blog...

What you'll find:
  • touch of historial background (and not enough to even get boring...)
  • four broad classifications of Pagan "traditions"
  • tidbits on Classic Paganism
  • tidbits on Neo-Paganism/New Age tradition
  • tidbits on Technopaganism
  • tidbits on Discordianism/Nihilism
  • totally cool quote from Aleister Crowley
  • fantastic photo of what could be a 2012 crowd
I became interested IMMEDIATELY in the picture of the natural elements plus crowd on this post. There's something mystical about that picture, with its visible electrical activity in the sky. People crowded around a body of water...the colours of purple, browns, salmon and - of course - darkness and blackness interspersed throughout the whole piece. Interesting. I can't tell what all these people are really doing here but I can imagine this is how many people envision December 21, 2012.

Perhaps people who believe the world is going to go through a transition in December 2012 will gather together in open spaces and around significant bodies of water...and wait for the whole darn transition to unfold. If those electrical bits of nature touch down - MAN, I would get the heck away from that water!

As you can probably tell, my knowledge of visual art is pretty sketchy and my ability to put visual aspects into similarly effective words is lacking flair... I don't know what it is about that picture that catches my eye so much but - IT ROCKS!

Obviously, in reviewing the post, I should just stick to words and leave off the commentary about visual stuff. The main content of the post is about Modern Pagan Movements and Blake has done a nice job of outlining what four main movements/traditions can be considered as such today. I like the brief explanation of Discordianism/Nihilism but admit these terms/the traditions are something I need to look more closely at. The only thing I understand well about discordianism is the concept of dissent...but I hope (I know) Blake will be offering more details on Discordianism in the days to come so that I can have a more rounded picture of this Pagan tradition.

The Day 768 material coincides with Saturday November 13 2010 in the 800 Days Countdown.

Day 775 (Tidbits)

There is a wealth of information being made available at the 800 Days blog in the Day 775 post. There is the suggestion, of course and as always, for readers to become more informed about "things." More specifically, readers are invited to become more informed about a certain uncommon text that is available but possibly not widely enough read or discussed.

Now, Blake Hall has described this book as being related to esoteric Christian works, New Age philosophies as well as an Occult item, so for those three associations, I'll buy in to the idea that it's an important piece of literature.

The book: OAHSPE - Seven Books of Spiritual Wisdom by John Ballou Newbrough and David A. Cardone. Blake gives a bit of history behind this literature, so I won't go too far in explaining but would just like to mention alternate titles this book has been published under - just in case an alternate title jogs someone's memory.

OAHSPE - A True Channeled Book, OAHSPE: A New Bible (wikipedia article), OAHSPE; A New Bible, in the Words of Jehovih and his Angel Ambassadors, and also OAHSPE; A Kosmon Bible, in the Words of Jehovih and his Angel Ambassadors.

The most recent title is the first given in this post, OAHSPE - Seven Books of Spiritual Wisdom.

Admittedly, this is not a book I have read in full. I have seen large portions of excerpts to date, but this book is one that I am suddenly compelled to read. I have found the book in Google Books and am currently reading it, starting from page 583, where G-Books allows me to see the text. This Chapter has the heading, "Book of Cosmogony and Prophecy.

Once you choose to start reading this book, the format will likely remind you of the Christian Bible/Scriptures ie: chapters and verses. Let me just offer a few interesting quotes:

Verse 19: If an iron wire extend from city to city, and vortexya be charged at one end, it will manifest at the other pole, and at times even escape in a flame of fire (electric flash). Verse 21: When vortexya is manifested in flames of fire it is called electricity. But when it lieth dormant, as in iron, it is called magnetism.

Here are numerous verses pertaining to the topic of "energy" or as close as I can describe what is meant by "vortexya" at the moment. If you're bored by scientific terminology, this section ought to interest you just for the difference in terminology from what you are accustomed to hearing/reading in current science journals and articles. You'll have to spend a few seconds, here and there, figuring out an "equivalent term" for just a few words but the stretching of vocabulary will prove useful for texts you'll read in the future and, obviously, for further chapters in the OAHSPE book.

And that's about as wrapped up as I should get as far as blogging about the OAHSPE text because Blake provides another esoteric-related piece of wisdom literature...

Another/the Other Title: The Secret Teachings of Manly Palmer Hall  and this is definitely off the esoteric shelves and has content related to Masons, Hermetic literature, arcane sources and information.

Definitely, some extra reading is in order here!

I'll be getting back to the OAHSPE Literature now.

Day 782 (Tidbits)

Obviously, since male and female are counterparts to each other and the last post on The 800 Days blog was about Female Goddesses, it naturally follows that there should be a complimentary post to immediately follow that is about Male Gods. The Day 782 post lists male deities that are important in many religions and philosophical belief systems but will mainly be noted as "Wiccan" and "Pagan" gods.

This isn't an extensive list by any means but Blake has managed to provide most of the "correspondences" personas from the list on the Day 783 post. That is, most of the "male" gods who correspond or match the female goddesses from the previous list are mentioned here.

A personal favourite of mine is in the list on Day 782 - Coyote! (Native American)

I love Coyote but have run into many an argument when I mention "Coyote/Trickster Tales" to people who identify as devout Christians. A few Coyote tales I know about have this trickster present during the creation of the world... he actually tricks God (some people view the persona in the story as "God" or "the one-god" of "the one-god people" but many Natives consider the one persona as "Creator" who has human-like characteristics...you can see how this might offend some people, right?). Sometimes people fail to see the symbolism and life examples and explanations in trickster tales and, instead, see them as offensive against certain religions or against particular religious personas - but I love trickster tales - and am happy to see this "deity" in Blake's list of gods in the Day 782 post.

Day 782 before the end of the Mayan Calendar was Saturday October 30 2010.

Day 789 (Tidbits)

Get ready for some interesting reading from The 800 Days blog just 789 days before Dec 21 2012. If you like numbers and puzzles, you're going to love the article "23 Enigma," and you'll probably think up some "23-related" things to add to the 23 Enigma list of things associated with the number twenty-three.

To tell you the truth, 23 Enigma has me quite perplexed... I keep flip-flopping in my perception that 23 Enigma has some valid theories that say the number 23 connects everything around us in at least some small way... versus a cautionary bit of thinking that 23 Enigma might simply be a bunch of explanations linked together with even more confirmation bias data.

Regardless...

All the associations and links between things containing the number 23 are at least - INTERESTING and well worth thinking about...

Day 796 (Tidbits)

I am not entirely sure yet if the Day 796 post is to warn people off or not but it is very interesting... in some other words I can think of, the mood and concept here is much like, "Be careful about what you ask for..."

There is a long, involved, philosophical quote here, as well, from the Elders of the Arizona Hopi Nation that I think people should read carefully. I'm not even going to try to explicate it here as I feel people need to interpret the words for themselves - not to mention - there are some complex concepts conveyed in the message that people will likely need some time and critical thinking to uncover.

The 800 Days blog for Day 796 includes more images of the 13 Moon Calendar. There are "Crystal Moon Pages," "Spectral Moon Pages," and "Planetary Moon Pages" here. These are downloadable/printable to use for your own purpose. Nice little resource here - and instructions for best printing are given here.

We are introduced to the idea that many ancient texts exist that haven't been shared amongst mankind, in general... and readers are introduced to some beautiful images but little text about the Pentagram (wheel of the year). I suppose there are definitely a number of days left with which to explore the Pentagram, associations with the "wheel of the year," etc., before the alleged "Doomsday" is upon us, so I will just be patient as the days - and posts - unfold...
