Day 734 (Tidbits)

How was your trip down the Rabbit Hole (via the last day's post)? If you're still in a state of dizzy disorientation from what you read and viewed about Rendlesham, Vrilion, The Blimp Ufo, etc., then take a deep breath and give yourself a couple of moments to re-orient to something less bizarre, okay?

You'll need a fair amount of calm and critical thinking for the Day 734 article on Blake4d's THE 800 DAYS BLOG.

The article is about mysticism and pseudoscience - and how these aspects of belief work or are sometimes a major part in 2012 Theories. Blake presents some videos featuring a Galactic teacher, Jose Arguelles.

Although this post isn't going to be like the previous "rabbit hole" experience, you'll still have to keep an open mind and be willing to shift perspectives here. You'll need to imagine a sort of falling away of the timekeepers you've become used to (that most people have become used to - maybe you haven't - but most of us have). Things like clocks, watches, digital time pieces, timers, man-made mechanical devices which command a certain view of "time."  The reason for this is that some say (Galactic teachers definitely say...) that we've traded natural rhythms for manmade time... some concepts that are hard for many to realize and accept due to the early teaching of clock time in most developed regions of the world (ie: when did you start learning to "read a watch"? Age 4, 6, 7 10? Likely no later than age 10 - so you've had THIS timepiece, mechanical perception of time on a daily basis since you were 10!).

Oh - and BTW, Arguelles isn't just some flaky spiritually excitable do-good-ing New Age guru. He's done some serious study inside AND outside of New Age concepts - all on the aspects of time that most of use don't ever consider. He's a legitimate scholar and art historian...and he also studies CALENDARS...

Also - Arguelles orchestrated a massive Harmonic Convergence event in our recent and still relevant past. In 1987 there was a global mediation and planetary peace event that Arguelles was largely responsible for planning and implementing. Hundreds of thousands of people participated. Blake goes on to list Arguelles' long string of (mainly humanitarian) accomplishments, but I'll let you view that on THE 800 DAYS blog as material to view while you listen to the vid/audios that Blake has put up on the Day 734 post. As you listen, you'll be able to learn more about Arguelles' qualifications in discussing "time" and "calendars" - and you'll also be treated to some more in-depth information Blake put together on the Gregorian Calendar.

Day 761 (Tidbits)

There's an audio selection set upon the Day 761 post and within the larger scope of THE 800 DAYS blog content that is amazing, in my humble opinion...

If you do NOT feel calmed and garner positive feelings from hitting the "play" arrow over on the 800 DAYS blog, well... I just wouldn't know what to say to that because as soon as I started listening, I felt more calm, and got in touch with a more positive set of "I" statements within...

I was reviewing other materials before I checked out the audio on Blake's 800 Days blog today. These materials were Doomsday and Apocalypse articles, videos and audios - so although I have my own pretty solid beliefs about these matters and am not actually afraid of some of the prophecy materials that I see online in various media forms, I admit - some of the information is pessimistic and FRIGHTENING... if one gets into a mindset of believing in some of what might only be propaganda, misinformation or disinformation about Doomsday and Apocalypse Theories...

The audio selection is called "Agents of Calm" and has narrative and vocal messages on it from EDEN SKY... Christian Burne mixed the selection, so credit goes, in part, to Mr. Burne for aligning great audio with vocal bytes!

Also in this post...

THE GALACTIC BUTTERFLY... something that I didn't have much awareness of prior to reading the content for Day 761 on Blake's blog. Strangely, it must have been just the right time and head-space for me to read this blog post right on this day because in my earlier activities, along with pessimistic concepts about the future, I did learn a lot more (on a positive note) about symbols, the importance and power of symbols... so the giant, revolving GALACTIC BUTTERFLY image that is flippin' around on Blake's Day 761 post seems really important and interesting to me now. I'll refrain from describing or explaining the concepts around The Galactic Butterfly here because Blake's attention to this topic is well done over on his blog. Instead, I'll insert a definition soon for "Galactic Butterfly" in the Glossary section/tab of the blog here.

There are some charts, 13-moon calendar information, 260-day calendar explanations and things that are better left on the 800 DAYS blog... I'd just be tossing jargon out if I explained here as "narratives," psych and sociology stuff, legends and related details are more my area of experience. I'm still learning much about the various calendars as Blake posts content. If you're a beginner just heading into or just becoming interested in 2012/Mayan Calendar topics, and find a bit of this stuff confusing, I HEAR YA!!! I know what this feels like... but we'll learn together!

Day 798 (Tidbits)

What I like about The 800 Days blog is that - early on - the author is willing to examine even theories and ideas he doesn't currently hold to be his own strongly held beliefs. The 800 Days blog isn't solely about the author trying to push his opinion on you...

ie: "[...] while I don't believe in some of these things personally, they are on the list due to the billions of folk that do believe in them." from post 798.9.

What kind of blog would The 800 Days blog be if it was solely just to persuade you into one rigid, set way of thinking? (hint: another rant-filled, narrow-focused blog like we see splashed all over the internet and are becoming agitated by in our "advanced" age of info-mation and technology). Bore, bore, bore...

On a better note (caught myself getting into rant-mode, myself lol)

Day 798 posts will take the reader into more in-depth explanations of the 13-Moon Calendar (the "DECODER" that has already been mentioned - if you need the link again: 13 Moon Calendar - DECODER) and astrological details, using Blake's birthdate. There are step-by-step explanations, pictures/charts, etc., so readers can understand each symbol and term involved with the 13-Moon Calendar, according to how Blake's birthdate functions within the structure of dates, timing, symbols, etc.

I'm working through the Day 798 explanations as well... I'm learning here as I go, just like you might be if you've just started reading The 800 Days blog as well as my "following" blog. I'll post more once I figure out what all my astrological details mean/are, according to the 13 Moon Calendar.
